Aloha, from hawaii!

ALOHA!

This week, I’m writing you from America’s 50th state, Hawaii! I’ve been having a blast since I arrived last Thursday, and I don’t want to leave…but I’ve got somewhere special I’m going to visit on my way home, and I haven’t been there in so long. So, I’m unfortunately getting ready to leave this paradise. From swimming in the Pacific, to floating in the lazy River, to having breakfast with Mickey, this has been a wonderful vacation!

I’ve absolutely loved my time at Aulani.  It truly is a magical place.  For me, Aulani is Disney’s absolute best resort they’ve ever built. Disney built the resort in partnership with authentic Hawaiian craftsmen & artisans.  It really does feel like visiting real Hawaii.  (I just LOVE the elevator music!!!!) At Aulani, the Disney characters are also on vacation with you…so you’ll get to see Mickey, Minnie & the gang!   This is my second time at Aulani, and I certainly hope it’s not the last!  But, I think next time I visit Hawaii, I’m going a different route…I’m thinking a cruise to see more than one island, or maybe an escorted tour, to see even more of the Hawaiian culture.

I’ve really got my eye on a Globus tour called “The Best of the Hawaiian Islands”. This tour visits Oahu, Hawaii (The Big Island) and Maui on a 10 day adventure. If this is something that interests you, you can read more about this amazing tour here. I think this would be an amazing vacation. Pricing begins around $4185 per person, and includes a lot of your meals. Globus has been around over 95 years, so I trust them for my vacations and my client’s adventures. I’ll be touring Peru & The Amazon with them in May. Machu Picchu has been on my Bucket List for way too long, and I’m finally crossing that one off my list with the help of Globus!

I’m also thinking about a cruise from California with Princess Cruises.  Their cruises usually sail from Southern California, and return back to California….which would be an ideal way to visit Hawaii if you don’t like the idea of flying all the way to the Hawaiian Island from the East Coast…that flight is daunting, to say the least!

Princess’ Hawaiian cruises offer an intoxicating mix of island adventure and carefree cruising. You’ll venture to four dazzling islands — including a full day and late evening in Honolulu to see the sights and experience its famed nightlife. And there’s so much to do while you’re at sea, like enjoying live entertainment, world-class cuisine, island-inspired activities and endless ocean views — plus it’s all included in your cruise fare!  Just imagine a relaxing two week cruise with your drinks, wifi & gratuties all included, and getting to skip that long flight over the Pacific Ocean.

I’m also considering sailing with Norwegian Cruise Lines…their ship in Hawaii, the Pride of America, is the only ship that flies the American flag, and does 7 day roundtrip sailings from Honolulu visiting Maui, The Big Island & Kauai.  They sail this route 52 weeks a year, so anytime you want to cruise, they’ll be there!  If you’d like to read more about their itinerary, you can do so here.

I’m not exactly sure how I’ll visit Hawaii next time, but I know it’s going to be a great vacation!

You know this has been a wonderful vacation if I’m already planning my return!

For now, ALOHA!

Mele Kalikimaka!!

I’ll leave Aulani on Thursday, Dec. 8 — I’m flying from Honolulu, to Los Angeles, where I’ll be visiting Disneyland for 5 nights before transferring over to Los Angeles for a visit to Universal Hollywood & the Warner Bros. Studio.  I haven’t been to Disneyland since 2017, I believe…and I haven’t been to Universal Hollywood since the summer of 1984.  I can’t wait to see how much these parks have changed since my last visits!
Make sure you’re following along on my adventures here.
