On my first trip to the Mayan Riviera, I completely fell in love with the Hotel Xcaret, and the beautiful park that we visited, Xel-ha. Until I can plan a return trip, I thought that I would share with you the amazing parks that the Group Xcaret has opened! All of these parks, along with transportation (to/from) is included with your stay, if you are staying at Hotel Xcaret, or Hotel Xcaret Arte; which is an amazing perk of these two All-Inclusive Resorts! XCARET
What is Xcaret? Park Xcaret opened in 1990 and has since become a landmark in Cancun & the Riviera Maya, considered by many as THE destination of this region. It’s name means “small inlet” due to the fact that a portion of the Caribbean Sea enters the land. Because of this, the Mayans used Xcaret, known back then as “Pole”, as a merchandise port.
