DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

DAY ONE:

ARRIVE IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA

  • At 6 pm, meet your Tour Director and travel companions for a welcome drink.

DAY TWO:

PHOENIX–SEDONA–GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK

SPECTACULAR SEDONA

  • Depart Phoenix and travel north through cactus-studded scenery for an orientation tour of Sedona, “Arizona’s Scenic Sensation.” Enjoy free time in Sedona or join an optional jeep tour through magnificent red rock canyons. Arrive this afternoon at Grand Canyon National Park, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The spectacular beauty of this famous attraction draws more than 5 million visitors a year from around the globe. Spend the next two nights inside the park. This evening, be sure to watch the spectacular sunset.

DAY THREE:

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK

THE GRANDEST ADVENTURE

  • If you missed the sunset, sunrise is just as impressive! Today is free to explore everything the canyon has to offer. You may want to enjoy optional flightseeing over the Grand Canyon—definitely the thrill of a lifetime, or set out to explore the Grand Canyon and learn about its geology and how the canyon was carved. You may wish to join a Ranger talk in the Amphitheater, venture down part of Bright Angel Trail, or visit the geology museum.

DAY FOUR:

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK–MONUMENT VALLEY NAVAJO TRIBAL PARK–LAKE POWELL

SOUTHWESTERN SECRETS & SIGHTS

  • Head to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, where the weathering action of wind and water has carved the famous sandstone spires and towers that rise hundreds of feet above the valley floor. On a 4-wheel-drive backcountry tour with a knowledgeable Navajo guide. Then enjoy a traditional  Navajo Fry Bread tasting. On to Lake Powell for a 2-night stay, with free time to relax or maybe stroll along Wahweap Marina.

DAY FIVE:

LAKE POWELL

WONDERS OF WIND & WATER

  • This morning, explore Antelope Slot Canyon with a local Navajo guide. Be mesmerized by an amazing fantasy world of stone, created by wind and water. Learn the history of this amazing canyon and be sure to take advantage of the incredible photo opportunities. The rest of the day is free in Lake Powell, where sparkling blue water laps against towering red-rock canyon walls and sandy beaches.

DAY SIX:

LAKE POWELL–BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK, UTAH

ROCK STARS

  • Depart from the splendid views of Lake Powell and travel Utah’s scenic backroads to spectacular Bryce Canyon National Park. Spend time in the park capturing the magnificent contrasts of bright red, yellow, and pink pillars called “hoodoos.” Years of erosion have carved colorful sandstone into thousands of spires, arches, and mazes for an unforgettable sight. Free time this evening.

DAY SEVEN:

BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK–ZION NATIONAL PARK–LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

  • Today, see nearby Zion National Park, a spectacle of massive stone formations whose colors change with the light of the day and the season. To the Mormon pioneers, it was a haven of beauty resembling natural temples and cathedrals. Enjoy a boxed picnic lunch on the front lawn of Zion Lodge with free time to explore before continuing to

Hi! My name is Kenneth Reece, a native from Stockbridge, Georgia. I am a travel agent for Modern Travel Professionals. I opened Enchanted Gardens Florist & Gifts in 1986--when I was just 19. My love affair with Disney started in 1998 when I added Walt Disney collectibles to my merchandise displays. When I started to learn about the rich history of The Walt Disney Company, (which is required to successfully sell Walt Disney Animation Art) is when my store came alive. I've enjoyed hosting Disney Artists, Sculptors & Imagineers for in-store signing events, and was thrilled to tour the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank a few times as a guest of the company. One of my fondest Disney memories is that of holding one of Walt Disney's personal Academy Awards while visiting the Walt Disney Archives in Burbank, CA. As my love of Disney grew, I began planning trips to Disney for my clients at my store, which grew into a new career! After a few years of both running my retail store and planning travel, I closed my brick & mortar store, moved to Vero Beach, Fl where I've been planning travel full-time now for over five years. Vero Beach has small-town charm with world-class luxury. It's an incredible place to live. I help take care of my parents here, and travel extensively with them. Together, we visit Disneyland and The Walt Disney World Resort often. I've planned tours in England, Scotland, Paris, Greece, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, & France including Disneyland Paris. Living in Vero Beach, where retirees seem to outnumber all other age groups, I've become an expert on helping people travel who are "young at heart". Living a short road trip away from the Orlando area, I visit the theme parks at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando & Sea World often. Many times I'm there once a week! I've stayed at every Disney Resort in North America, toured every hotel at the Universal Resort, and have taken over 25 cruises, being a Platinum Castaway Cay member with Disney Cruise Line. I've cruised to the Caribbean, The Bahamas, Alaska, the Panama Canal, Trans-Atlantic (East & Westbound), Mediterranean & Northern Europe. Also, if you need restaurant recommendations, I've personally ate at most of the restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort & at the Disneyland Resort in Southern California. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort, and Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa is my favorite resort at Disneyland. I've attended various events at Walt Disney World such as: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Star Wars Weekends, Disneyana Conventions, EPCOT's Food & Wine Festival, The Flower & Garden Festival and the new Festival of Arts.
